CIMSA, with its vision, “Empowering medical students, improving nation’s health”, is a medical student organization that commits to actively contribute to health improvement in Indonesia. CIMSA has divisions that stand for national and international issues. A CIMSA Policy Document outlines the organization’s official position on specific issues, demonstrating CIMSA’s commitment and attention to these matters. Composed of a policy statement and position paper, it acts as an advocacy tool to help CIMSA achieve its objectives. These documents are consistent with CIMSA’s mission and objectives, adhere to its Constitution and Bylaws, and are approved during CIMSA National Meetings, remaining valid for three years or until updated.
This policy document represents an official statement of CIMSA’s attention and stance toward these issues and serves as a foundation for its advocacy and activities to improve the nation’s health. With 36 locals across Indonesia, CIMSA has implemented more than 1,000 activities supporting these highlighted topics.
