MAY MEETING 2025

One of the most important national meetings of CIMSA, the May Meeting 2025, was successfully held from May 29 to June 1 at Akar Hotels & Resorts, in Bandar Lampung. It was a great honor for CIMSA FK Unila, which was entrusted to be the host who welcomed the delegates from all over Indonesia.
May Meeting is an annual agenda that holds a crucial role in the leadership regeneration process and the establishment of the strategic direction of CIMSA at the national level. This year, the May Meeting 2025 served as a platform for the delegates to actively participate in the election of new National Officials for CIMSA, who will lead the organization in realizing its vision, Empowering Medical Students, Improving Nation’s Health.This annual leadership regeneration event brought together CIMSA members from 36 locals and 7 observer under the theme “Marching Forward as One: A Youth-Driven Vision for Health.”
The four-day event was a perfect blend of intense discussions and heartfelt connections. From the vibrant cultural performances that showcased the rich history of Lampung during the Welcoming Party, Newcomer Session, Parallel Session, Voting Hour, Grand Lecture, Ask EB Candidates, to the late-night plenary sessions that stretched until 3 AM, every moment strengthened our bonds. The election of new National Officials filled us with hope for CIMSA’s future, while emotional farewells to the 24/25 tenure reminded us of our shared purpose.
To our incredible CIMSA FK Unila Organizing Committee, thank you for being so cohesive, responsible, and proactive. Working with you has been our greatest privilege. Special thanks to National Officials CIMSA 24/25 for creating a safe, transparent working environment where direct communication was always encouraged. Your leadership showed us how to balance professionalism with warmth.
This experience fulfilled our long held dream of becoming a leader who could guide others. It proves CIMSA’s incredible power to inspire. May Meeting 2025 showed us how serious work and genuine camaraderie can coexist beautifully. To CIMSA, let’s preserve this special dynamic. As we close this chapter, we carry forward not just memories, but life changing lessons about leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later, with more CIMSA magic awaiting us.
