Diabetes is a dangerous and deadly disease. Based on Basic Healthy Research of the Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2018, the number of diabetics patient in Indonesia is high. There is from 6,9% in 2013 become 8,5% in 2018. The number of people with diabetes reached 16 million people. It explained that diabetes prevalency in Indonesia keeps increasing, requiring efforts from all parties to control the number.

Based on the Indonesia Ministry of Health, 90% of diabetes cases are type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes commonly occurs in an adult, but it has also been found in children and adolescent in recent years. Therefore, it is essential to control diabetes because the lifestyle in the family is very influential.

In response to this situation, Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH) CIMSA UKDW holds an event in a talk show in order World Diabetes Day. This year, World Diabetes Day, U Health By Diabet, has a theme Stand Up for Healthy and Stay Away from Diabetes. This event invited a diabetic, Mrs. Anita Permata Sari dan, a speaker doctor, dr. Mutiara Lirendra from Sobat Diabet by Zoom platform as one of Celebration World Diabetes Day 2020. The talk show is packaged in an educational form that focused on increasing awareness and knowledge about diabetes harm, prevention, and cares through the education movement. This event is expected to inform the public about diabetes from diabetics' side, mostly about diabetics' physical and mental condition.

Moreover, it is hoped that the public stigma about diabetes can be broken. People also can be consulted directly with a speaker doctor in the sharing session on this event. To make the event more interesting, the committee held a door prize session about the diabetes topic that has been discussed in this event.

This U Health Bye Diabet was held on Saturday, November 28th, 2020, through the zoom platform that follows by 100 registered participants. Even though the event was held during a pandemic, participants were very enthusiastic about this event and were active in the speakers' sharing session. The positive impact obtained from holding this activity is the increase in the post-test score's average value. This shows that participants better understand diabetes harm and how to pretend and care about diabetes.
