The principle to prioritize patient safety is listed in several declarations including The Hippocratic Oath, The Declaration of Geneva, and The Declaration of Helsinki. There are 4 main principles in bioethics, namely autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice. The provision of bioethics education to prospective medical personnel becomes very important so that later they can understand and look comprehensively at the application of these bioethical principles. Based on a survey conducted on medical students, 58% of students said they had done something that they considered unethical and 62% said that their ethical principles had been eroded. This shows the importance of the role of bioethics education in the medical education curriculum.
