SCORA&SCORP CIMSA UNSOED
STRIVE (Say No to Gender-Based Violence) is a collaboration event organized by SCORP and SCORA CIMSA Unsoed in the theme "Gender-Based Violence and Rape Culture" and in commemoration of International Women's Day. STRIVE aims to increase the public's knowledge and awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) and rape culture. In addition, it is an event to increase the knowledge of SCORP and SCORA CIMSA Unsoed members and sounding information regarding GBV and rape culture issues through social media.
STRIVE activity was held as a series of events, consisting of online webinars, training, ground campaign, air campaign, and social media campaign.
The first day of the webinar was held on March 21st, 2021, with speakers from UNFPA, LBH APIK Indonesia, and Komnas Perempuan. The second day was held on March 27th, 2021, with speakers from Yayasan Pulih and Lecturer of Faculty Medicine Unsoed. STRIVE's online webinars were carried out on zoom meetings. The air campaign was held through a podcast on Spotify by sharing information from @awasKBGO regarding GBV on social media.
Meanwhile, the social media campaign was held through hormone special edition, and the public's perspective about GBV video on Instagram feeds. Before the webinar, members of the SCORP and SCORA CIMSA Unsoed, joined a training about GBV with NTHRE CIMSA Unsoed, Lingua Retno. Members also conducted a ground campaign to the public through sharing information and poster about GBV.
STRIVE activity received good responses from the participants. Sixty-five participants attended the online webinar STRIVE held by SCORP and SCORA CIMSA Unsoed. Even though it was held online, participants got the benefits and insights from this webinar. This was indicated by the increase of participants' knowledge on related topics as assessed by the post-test increase from the pre-test scores. In the form of the campaign on Instagram, our video was liked by 116 people and was seen by 498 viewers. For the air campaign on Spotify, our podcast was streamed by 35 listeners.
