Stunting is the impaired growth and development that children experience from poor nutrition, repeated infection, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. Children are defined as stunted if their height-for-age is more than two standard deviations below the WHO Child Growth Standards median (WHO,2015). In 2020, globally, 149.2 million children under the age of 5 years of age were stunted (WHO,2020) and According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the number of stunting cases in Indonesia in 2019 reached 27.67 percent. This makes Indonesia ranked 4th in the world and 2nd in Southeast Asia in terms of stunting under five cases. The reason for the high rate of stunting in Indonesia is that some babies born in Indonesia are already undernourished, and then raised with nutritional deficiencies. This article participates in the discussion of stunting and how to preventby focusing on thechild nutrition. To understand good nutrition in children, we need to focus on what they are ordering; we need to adjust their diet by increasing protein sources in addition to still eating fruits and vegetables. This article argues that children are people who can make a difference in society and the world. Instead of reacting to other child health problems, we try to understand how good nutrition and nutrition is for a child during his golden period. It is important to know that parents play an important role in meeting their child's needs and the source of their health problems.
