Data from the Scientific American Survey (1994) shows that Indonesian Scientists and Scholars' annual contribution to knowledge, science, and technology is only 0.012 percent. Other than that, data from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia shows that Indonesia's scientific writing contribution is only 8-9 articles per one million population. All of this is evidence that research interest and scientific writing skills for research in Indonesia are still low.

Based on that, SCORE CIMSA FK YARSI would like to discuss the importance of knowing the basics of research in the form of SCORE Goes Public (SGP) Lv. 1, which aims to increase the knowledge of the SCORE members regarding The Basic Research Methodology, How to Use SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), and How to Make Research Questionnaires. Besides, to encourage SCORE members to think critically about local and global issues in research.

On Saturday, November 28th, 2020. SCORE CIMSA FK YARSI has successfully held SGP Lv.1 for their internal SCORE members who had the theme STAR (SPSS Training and Acknowledgement of Research). The event itself took place in Zoom Meeting media online in the form of a webinar. The activity consists of three sessions. But before that, the participants had to do some pre-test we already prepared. The first session, which was about The Basic Research Methodology, was presented by Dr. Kholis Ernawati, S.Si., M.Kes.

The second and third sessions were offered by Dr. Rifqatussa'adah, SKM., M.Kes, about Using SPSS and How to Make Research Questionnaires. In a Q&A session, our members actively threw some questions, all of which were answered by the speakers. The event was closed well with a post-test, a certificate giving as an award to speakers, and a group photo.

SCORE CIMSA FK YARSI members were very attentive and enthusiastic. Post-test itself to measure the impact and if there were any step-up from the pre-test or not. The post-test result was significantly better than the pre-test, which also a success indicator of our project.

Above all, this activity's success was due to the hard work of the Local Committee on Research Exchange (LCRE), Organizing Committee (OC), and other CIMSA FK YARSI Officials 2020-2021 period.
