Hello CIMSA!
CIMSA UNRI successfully held “SINOVAC” on 26-30 July 2022 in celebration of National Children’s Day. SINOVAC was held online on Zoom Meeting in response to the COVID 19 outbreak around the world.
CIMSA UNRI held SINOVAC because of the target number of COVID-19 vaccinations for children has not been achieved. In relation to the continued increase in the number of positive cases of COVID-19 which has caused people to be increasingly worried about it. This is due to the lack of parental knowledge about the importance of COVID-19 vaccination for children, so many parents forbid their children to get the vaccine.
Through SINOVAC CIMSA FK UNRI, it is hoped that it can increase public knowledge, especially parents, so that children can get vaccinations and achieve the COVID-19 vaccination target in Indonesia.
Before the activity SINOVAC was held, the SINOVAC organizing committee attended the pre-activity training, which was conducted by CIMSA FK UNRI in preparation for the SINOVAC event. The training was given by one of the CIMSA UNRI trainers, Jane Darmadi Kosen from SUPDIV. The training was provided to broaden the knowledge of SINOVAC’s Organizing Committee regarding cases of vaccination COVID-19 for children and how to approach them.

Diko Anugrah Ramadhan from PPDS Child Health Sciences FKUI RSCM. On July 26, 2022, the webinar was held in Zoom Meeting to discuss how important the COVID-19 vaccination is for children, the benefits of the vaccine, how the vaccine works, and how to convince parents to allow their children to get the COVID-19 vaccination.
