SGP 1: JASUKE (Jago SPSS: Kiat Sukses Analisis Data Statistika Bersama SCORE) was held to learn the basic principles of research through literature review training, research questionnaires, and SPSS application training. Because research in the field of medicine aims to collect, analyze, and synthesize information or data that is used in medical-clinical, medical-social planning, or for the development of medical science itself. In addition, this project can also prepare SCORE members to research for an upcoming project, namely SGP 4. From 52 medical students at Sebelas Maret University who filled out the pre-assessment, 76,9% of respondents didn’t know about SPSS. In addition, 90% of respondents have never used the SPSS application to process statistical data. Other than that, 73,1% of medical students were interested in medical research. However, 44,2% of respondents didn’t understand the research method. These data show that the knowledge of medical students at the University of Sebelas Maret regarding research and statistical data processing is still lacking and need to be alleviated. The goals of this project are to increase the knowledge of medical students in research by 20%. And also to increase their skills in using SPSS by 20%. SGP 1: JASUKE consists of 2 series of events, namely training literature review for the public delivered by Aiman Hilmi Asaduddin, S.Ked on 21st August 2021 and training on research questionnaires and SPSS for faculty medicine of UNS students only by dr. Vitri Widyaningsih, MS., Ph.D. on 22nd August, 2021.

On the second day of SGP 1: JASUKE, participants were given statistical data samples and processed using SPSS in the workshop session. Most of the participants stated that they were satisfied with this project. There was a 33,1% increase in public knowledge about literature review in the post-test. From the results of the pretest and posttest SPSS training, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge of medical students by 10.35% in the posttest. As many as 68% of participants can use SPSS well during the workshop. Up to 25 medical students participated in SGP 1: JASUKE. This project is very beneficial for medical students in improving their knowledge and skills in research and is recommended to be implemented next year.
