SEHATI (Sehat, Empati, dan Hapuskan Stigma TBC) is an activity held to commemorate World Tuberculosis Day. SEHATI activities are divided into three activities; Pre-Act, Main-Act, and Post-Act. In line with the theme "Tuberculosis/TB," this activity is designed to enhance public understanding of TB, raise awareness about the disease, and reduce the negative stigma associated with TB sufferers. This activity is filled with conducting interviews with the community and TB survivors in the Banjarmasin area of South Kalimantan Province. These interviews aim to reduce the number of discrimination against TB survivors, increase public understanding of TB, and encourage changes in public thinking towards TB survivors. Target participants include the general public, TB survivors, PSKPS FKIK ULM students, CIMSA ULM members from the 2023 and 2024 batches, and 20 volunteers. The initiative also partners with external organizations such as dr. Ira Nurrasyidah Sp. P (K), FAPSR, FISR as a speaker, Bekantan TB South Kalimantan, and Lentera Kalimantan.

There were 1,800 TB cases in Banjarmasin City in 2021 according to the report of the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, and 6,736 total cases were found in the South Kalimantan Province area. A very large number for a serious disease. Therefore, it is important to increase public knowledge and awareness about TB disease and to improve the negative stigma of the community towards TB sufferers.

The form of implementation of the pre-act activity is a Training with PHT CIMSA UNAND, Muhammad Rafi S. , with the topic “Tuberculosis” online via Zoom Meeting, attended by all SCOPH batch 24 members and also making a Teaser or video clip about TB on the Instagram story @cimsaulm. For the main-act activity: a documentary video containing interviews in collaboration with dr. Ira Nurrasyidah Sp. P (K), FAPSR, FISR, TB survivors and the community, attended by the entire SEHATI committee and uploaded on Instagram @cimsaulm. For the post-act activity, there is a quiz containing questions about TB on the Instagram story @cimsaulm and provide a carousel of answers to the TB quiz on the same platform. Through this activity, we hope that we can help increase public knowledge and awareness about TB, address and improve the stigma or perspective of the community towards TB sufferers, and creating a supportive environment for TB patients and survivors.
