Becoming a parent is something that many people dream of in this world, but this can be a crisis condition for a woman because she needs to go through a transition period. Psychologically, a woman will feel psychiatric signs and symptoms after giving birth. A mother needs to adapt in carrying out her activities in this condition, some are successful and some are not. When a mother cannot adapt to this psychological disorder, it can be called the postpartum blues.

The incidence of postpartum blues is different in each country such as Japan 15-50%, United States 27%, France 31.7%, Nigeria 31.3% and Greece 44.5%. In Indonesia, the prevalence of this case reaches 50% - 70% in postpartum women. Of course, this number is not a small number, therefore SCORA CIMSA FK Unisba created the project "SCORA TELLING: WATCH (World Maternal Mental Health Challenges)".

This event will be held on May 30, 2021, to coincide on Sunday, through Zoom Meeting. Students and the general public are the main targets of this event, the reason is that there are still many Indonesians who do not know the importance of psychological health. Psychological health can affect the physical condition of a mother so that it can also affect the health of the baby.

Which was filled by speaker’s representative from HIMPSI (Himpunan Psikologi Indonesia) with Hira Yuki Molira, S.Psi., M,Psi., our psychologist had a two-way discussion about Postpartum Depression and Baby Blues Syndrome. To ensure that participants understand the material presented, we provide a pre-test before the material presented and a post-test was carried out afterwards to become a benchmark. After the event ended, we appreciated the speaker by giving him a certificate as a speaker at this event.

We hope that after this webinar the public will not only know about postpartum depression and baby blues syndrome, but will also become aware of these conditions.
