Social Accountability in the realm of health is an ideal situation where the government, non-governmental organizations, health education institutions, and the community work together in a closer and more direct scope to improve public health. However, it is very unfortunate that there are still many health workers and students of health groups who do not fully understand this matter.

SCOME CIMSA Universitas Airlangga believes that there is an urgent need to understand social accountability in the healthcare sector. Therefore, together with the Medical Study Program and the Doctor Profession Study Program, we held a series of activities to increase knowledge about Social Accountability as well as Interprofessional Education and Interprofessional Collaboration. This activity is called RECEPTOR or Realizing Collaboration as a Significant Part of Being a Health Worker.

RECEPTOR was held on Saturday, October 29 2022 in the FK Unair Hall with the presence of more than 125 participants. In this activity there are 2 seminars, each with the theme of Introduction To Social Accountability For Medical and Health Professionals presented by Siti Pariani, dr, MS, MSc, Ph.D. as a Lecturer of the Department of Public Health Sciences (IKM-KP) and Assessing Social Accountability in Medical Education presented by Aufa Fadhil as a National Officer on Medical Education CIMSA Indonesia 2022/2023 as well as a talk show that discusses Diversity in Social Accountability Across The World which was filled by the two previous speakers and the Vice Dean II Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga, Dr. Hanik Badriyah Hidayati, dr., Sp.S(K). This event is also proven impactful to the audiences, with the increased knowledge of participants by 112.6% which is classified as very significant.

Through this series of events, we also celebrate the day of National Health Collaboration by inviting health students from faculties other than medicine and celebrate National Doctor's Day by sending doctor's day greetings on the next day, directly after lectures and via online messages, by WhatsApp or Email.

Last but not least, we expect and hope that health workers and medical students will be able to use and apply the experience and knowledge from this event as a stepping stone to learning even more about Social Accountability and Interprofessional Collaboration.
