PODCAST CASCADE: ECOFRIENDLY EXCHANGE
SCOPE CIMSA UKDW
Based on data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in 2019, several countries in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, have become large amounts of paper and plastic "trash bins". The Ministry of Environment and Forestry's explanation also stated that the amount of national waste in 2020 would reach 67.8 million tons. Other data from the United Nations shows that air travel contributed number one CO2 emissions from 2006 to 2019, 10% of which came from student flights. Therefore, the SCOPE CIMSA UKDW would like to introduce and provide further understanding regarding applying the Eco-friendly Exchange concept for outgoings and CIMSA members.
The Podcast Cascade series: Eco-friendly Exchange was recorded on January 28, 2021, then began to be published on the Spotify platform on January 31, 2021. This podcast brought in a speaker from the National Exchange Officer for Incoming 2019, Muhammad Yurizar Yudhistira, and hosted by LEO CIMSA UKDW, Kadex Reisya Sita Damayanti, as well as a SCOPE UKDW member, Bernadetha Muktiarini. The podcast recording session starts at 16.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB via the Google Meet platform. The conversation during the podcast was fun and smooth for 40 minutes. The duration is divided into two episodes, which listeners can access via the link http://bit.ly/PodcastCascade. After listening to the podcast, CIMSA members can test their understanding through the google form's post-test.
The material discussed in the podcast can be understood well by listeners. This is in line with the results of the post-test, which mostly showed near-perfect results. We hope that with the Cascade: Eco-friendly Exchange Podcast, CIMSA members and potential outgoings can understand Eco-friendly Exchange's importance and apply it in their daily lives.
