(Pre-Exchange Training)
SCORE CIMSA FK UNS
SCORE CIMSA FK UNS has held PET: Pre-Exchange Training to prepare for students' exchange for the 2021/2022 season and members of the CIMSA FK UNS SCORE on February 13-14, 2021, via video conference (Zoom). Pre-exchange training is hard skills and soft skill training aimed at outgoing people to prepare research exchanges before conducting student exchanges to destination countries.
This training aims to provide outgoing information about the exchange process (how to get a certificate, which should be contacted, deadlines, etc.), travel tips, awareness of intercultural, and basic research practices. PET is important because the information provided is very coherent with the research exchange. Outgoing people are expected to care more about research in the medical world and carry out research without worrying about ethical violations. The essence of this activity's big event is training and discussions with the speakers provided by the committee.
On the first day, we held training on the Basics of SCORE Exchange and Preparation for Research Exchange from LORE SCORE CIMSA FK UNS. We held interactive discussions for outgoing and members using jam board media to write down their hopes and dreams for future exchanges.
On the second day, we invited Indra Gunawan to share experiences, the flow of his exchange journey, and preparations before and during the exchange as outgoing Egypt 2019 and former LORE SCORE CIMSA FK UNS and M. Gilang Dwi Putra to hold discussions, provide materials and training on Intercultural Learning and Bioethics as NORE 2018/2019, the 2019/2020 SCORE Supervisory Board, and the 2020/2021 SCORE Assistant Project Development. This activity indicates that the outgoing candidate was more prepare and the members already know the training material provided, which can be seen from the increase in the pretest and post-test scores. As LORE CIMSA FK UNS, I hope that the 2021/2022 season exchange students can immediately prepare their exchange program well and be more prepared with this event. Our members can increase their knowledge about student exchange preparation. Hopefully, this activity will continue in the next management and be more innovative.
