PDT 1
(Pre Departure Training 1)
SCOPE CIMSA UNEJ
Every year SCOPE as the Standing Committee on Professional Exchange send their members for a professional exchange to their designated countries. In correspondence to that they also open a new batch for upcoming outgoings that is open for every member in all locals all across Indonesia who wishes to participate in the future exchange. Every year they will open two batches for the members to register themselves. Both the first and second batched registration for the 2020/2021 period have been closed. For the first batch registrants, each one of them have already received their results, either they got chosen for a country or have their applications declined. The ones who got rejected or just registered themselves will have to go through the second batch of registration.
For the future outgoings who have been accepted to a country, they have to submit mandatory documents needed for their exchange in the future. Because of the amount of documents needed, we feel the need to inform and educate the future outgoings on this matter. Hence why PDT was held.
Pre Departure Training, or in short PDT, is one of SCOPE CIMSA UNEJ’s activities that has to be done for the future outgoings. In this activity our LEO explained the each of the mandatory documents that is required to be filled by each future outgoings. As every country has different requirements he stressed over the fact on the importance how each of the future outgoings do a double check of all of the documents needed, as failure in submitting them might result in the rejection of their exchange.
Not only that he also explained to them the right flow of communication, how they’re prohibited to contact Indonesian NEO or the designated country’s NEO as they will all have one contact person who will contact the country’s NEO for them. He also explained that they will receive the exchange certificate in their exchange country and not in Indonesia and after they have finished the exchanged they will have to do a few tasks that will be beneficial for the future outgoing who go after them.
