NO TOBACCO DAY

The HTTS (World No Tobacco Day) event, which is held from 11 May to 16 May 2020, is held twice with the following conditions:
1. Monday, May 11, 2020 - Friday, May 15, 2020 (Campaign and Pretest)
2. Saturday, May 16, 2020 (Core Events: online lectures, online discussions, posttests, games).
Implemented through online media, the Instagram Story and Zoom Meeting application. No Tobacco Day 2020 is an annual work program of the Permanent Committee for Public Health organized by CIMSA FK UNISBA which discusses awareness of the dangers of smoking and the correlation with respiratory diseases with the aim of providing health education for the people in Indonesia. In early 2020, there was the 2019 Corona pandemic virus (COVID-19) which is a respiratory disease caused by corona virus infection, according to The American Cancer Society, there is no direct evidence, contracting this disease was increase. This allegation is supported by the existence of epidemiological evidence that is issued could increase the risk of lung and throat infections. The purpose of this HTTS event is to commemorate World No Tobacco Day, increase the awareness of the Indonesian people about the dangers of smoking to the lungs and the risk of being contracted to COVID-19, and also improve the knowledge of the community about lung health.
The results of this program are: Through the Campaign, public knowledge about the dangers of smoking to the lungs and its correlation with COVID-19 was obtained and the public was more interested in joining the No Tobacco Day 2020 activity, Questions from the public about the dangers of smoking to lung health and its correlation with COVID-19 could be answered in online discussions (questions & answers session), Increased public knowledge about the dangers of smoking to the lungs and its correlation with COVID-19 which can be known through post-test results. The participants of this event are Indonesian people who work or live in Bandung area, and for the main session we invite our insighful speaker, FK UNISBA alumni in 2015 and also the Local Coordinator of CIMSA UNISBA in 2017-2018, he is Avinindita Nura Lestari S. Ked.
