Every student has the opportunity to study all around the world and improve medical education through student exchange in the hope they can learn different curriculum systems and compare them. In student's exchange, their knowledge and skills can improve. It could be their provision as lawyers in the future because they are already trained.
SCOPE and SCORE CIMSA facilitate Indonesian medical students who have the interest and ability to gain clinical and research experience abroad by assisting the processing of documents and administration required by the destination country.
In order to improve understanding of what countries are available for exchange along with other essential flows and information, Exchange Fair & Talkshow are considered necessary to be implemented, especially during pandemics where everything conducted online, we could reach more than medical students from our university but also medical students all over Indonesia.
This activity's framework consisted of Exchange Fair and Talkshow held on the same day on February 27th, 2021. This year held a new theme called " NEPTUNE: New Opportunity to Unravel the Exchange Experience" the goals of the event is to increase people knowledge about the exchange from our ex-outgoers and speaker's experience in exchange or studying abroad, and also got an insight into how beneficial it is for us to do research exchange from them.
It also supports one of CIMSA's focuses on SDGs, namely on its fourth goal: "Ensuring inclusive and equitable education and encouraging lifelong learning opportunities for everyone" and supporting the CIMSA Human Resources for Health Program.
This project aims to increase people's knowledge and interest of professional doctoral students in West Sumatra to carry out exchanges from the previous year marked by the sale of application forms as many as at least 36 for SCOPE and 27 SCORE in period three the management year 2020-2021.
Through this exchange fair & talk show, we hope healthcare students in Indonesia can gain more insight into student exchange, put more interest in this activity, encourage lifelong learning opportunities for everyone & also prepare five stars and international doctors from all medical students in Indonesia.
