LITTLE EINSTEIN

SCORE CIMSA FK UNPAD

This year, SCORE CIMSA FK Unpad conducted the first community development named Little Einstein, which took the theme of introducing basic research to cadres of 10th-grade students at SMAN Jatinangor. The purpose of holding LITTLE EINSTEIN is to form cadres with knowledge and interest in research that are above their peers, in accordance with our program background, which is to pioneer future successors of future researchers in Indonesia.

We have just implemented the 3rd intervention of Little Einstein which was carried out on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 at Jatinangor High School from 08.00 to 12.00 WIB. In this third intervention, we held a group discussion forum where we conducted a case study on cases that occur normally around their school environment.

In the beginning, they were divided according to their respective facilitation groups. After the opening, they were guided by their respective facilitators to discuss the cases that they have been given. In this FGD session, they were asked to look around and be more aware of the events around them.

From the seven different case studies, two of them were of social sciences while the others were about natural science. The students were asked to analyze the case with the guidance of the facilitators. Then, they were asked to write down the results of their analysis on a flipchart paper and present it to the other groups.

After the FGD session, we continued with the games session. The games we played together were watermelon game and sitting counting games. In both games, the committee and cadres were very enthusiastic. Those who lost in the games were given a penalty in the form of dancing to a song prepared by the committee.

At the end of the session, the students were given assignments that they have to submit at the next meeting. The task is taking data and making a presentation that will be presented at the next meeting. To end the intervention, the committee and cadres took a picture together.
