LITTLE EINSTEIN

SCORE CIMSA FK UNPAD

This year, SCORE CIMSA FK Unpad conducted the first community development named LITTLE EINSTEIN, which took the theme of introducing basic research to the cadres of 10th-grade students at SMAN Jatinangor. The purpose of holding LITTLE EINSTEIN this year is to form cadres who have knowledge and interest in research that are above their peers', in accordance with our program background, which is to pioneer future successors of future researchers in Indonesia.

We have just implemented a second intervention from Little Einstein which was carried out on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Jatinangor High School from 08.00 to 12.00 WIB. In this intervention, we had the opportunity to invite 2 speakers from SRC FK Unpad namely Namira Assyfa Nurazizah and Fita Fadiah who provided material on scientific papers.

During the presentation of the material, the cadre students were very serious and paid attention to our two speakers. The material presented contains an initial introduction to the basic research and an introduction to writing scientific papers. The cadre students were very interested and enthusiastic during the presentation and at the end of the material, they were very active in asking various questions related to the material delivered.

Then, the cadre students played together with the facilitators. They played Tarzan, Dalila and Tiger and shooting games. They look so excited and cheerful playing together. Then, we proceed with a session of resting and eating together. While eating and resting, we held a sharing session together with cadre students.

Next, they were asked to do a snake experiment beginning with a demonstration given by the committee. The cadre students were assisted by the facilitators, trying to repeat what has been exemplified by the committee. It was difficult because the composition must be just right. Starting with pouring sand into a glass bowl, then inserting zippo fluid. Then, they added a mixture of sugar and baking soda in a ratio of 1 to 4. After a number of tries, they succeeded in conducting the experiment. They also looked happy and enthusiastic. Some of them tried to capture the results of their experiments.

At the end of the event, a facilitator session was conducted by the facilitators. There, they were seen exchanging information and were very happy to talk with their respective facilitators. They began to exchange personal contacts to get to know each other even better.
