LESI 2nd INTERVENTION

(Lets Erase Sadness and Insecurities)

SCOPH CIMSA UIN SH

10th october is celebrated as World Mental Health Day. This year, SCOPH CIMSA created a Community Development called LESI (Let’s Erase Sadness and Insecurites). This community development is created to raise awareness about mental health, since the pandemic of COVID-19, the risk of mental health problems such as depression and  insecurities are higher than before. We had distributed the primary assessment and got 23 students of FK UIN SH to join the online consultaion with psychologist. On the First intervention, we collaborated with KESSOS DEMA. It was held on 10th to 11th October 2020 which consist of Webinar and online consultation.

To do follow up the online consultation that has been carried out, we held the second intervention of LESI on 4th to 5th December 2020. Before that, we did a follow up questioner to the target communities that consist of SRQ Test and evaluation from the first intervention. With this follow up, we want to know the impact of first invervention that we already did by looking on a decreasing of SRQ scores of the targets.

On 4th December, the webinar was held by Zoom Meeting which was opened for target communities and member of CIMSA. The event started at 4.30 pm. The speaker of this webinar is Desi Wulansari, M.Psi.,psikologi, a psychologist from Pijar Psikologi. The topic of this webinar is “Self Regulation and Coping Stress”. After the presentation, we opened QnA session. The participants were enthusiastic by asking many questions. We also held games and the participants were very active and excited. The last, we closed the event by photo session around 6 pm.

The next day, we held an online consultation that started from 1 pm to 5 pm by zoom meeting. There were 23 target communities who joined the online consultation with 6 psychologist from HIMPSI. Each person has 45 minutes consultation.

The second intervention of LESI received positive feedback from the target communities, webinar participants, and the psychologist. We hope, LESI can help the target communities to erase their sadness and insecurities according to the name of LESI itself. We also hope that LESI can help target communities to reduce their level of depression.
