LEAP: LPDP EXHIBITION AND SHARING PROJECT 2018
SCOME CIMSA FK UNPAD
SCOME CIMSA FK Unpad had organized their first event on Sunday, May 6th 2018, which was LEAP: LPDP Exhibition and Sharing Project. This event was held in Rumah Sakit Pendidikan Hasan Sadikin’s Auditorium. LEAP was created because LPDP is one of the most sought-after scholarship in Indonesia. The goal of this event was to give information regarding LPDP Scholarship Program to the audiences. This event was divided to three sessions, which were seminar, panel discussion and workshop. We invited LPDP awardees to be our speakers.
On the first session or seminar, dr. Iswandy Janetputra Turu'Allo, our first speaker, gave a brief seminar about the summary of LPDP Scholarship Program and some important information about LPDP this year. The speaker explained the most important thing in conducting the LPDP test, what LPDP needed, and the government’s reason to hold an LPDP Scholarship Program every year. In addition, the speaker also told us to stay motivated and to always be patient in achieving what we want. The audience are so enthusiastic as the event went on and they also asked many questions.
After that, we continued to our second session which is panel discussion. In this session, dr Iswandy Janetputra, Priza Mahendraputra ST, MURP, IAP and dr. Annisa Noer Dewi each shared their experience, being an awardee of LPDP Scholarship Program. All three of them had various experience in LPDP due to the different LPDP program they enrolled for. In the panel discussion, the speakers explained specificly what to look when taking the S2, S3, and specialist scholarship programs. They also shared about the facilities and requirements of the said programs.
In the last session, we had a workshop training on how to write a good essay for application needs. Our trainers were dr. Iswandy Janetputra and Priza Mahendraputra ST, MURP, IAP. We emphasized training on essay writing because it is one of the most important factors that determine the acceptance of LPDP awardees. Every single audience was required to write at least one essay describing them, their family, and their life summary, including their achievements and abilities.
Finally, this event was ended by photo session for the audience, speakers and the organizing committee. We hope this project could provide the attendees with the ability and information needed to enroll for LPDP Scholarship Program. We also wish that this event will make a great impact and the audiences who enrolled for the scholarship program would get accepted as well.
