KUMPHA 2nd INTERVENTION
SCORA MSCIA UB
KUMPHA (Kumpul KOPHA) 2 is an intervention held by DORA MSCIA UB which was attended by KOPHA (Komunitas Orang Peduli HIV & AIDS), one of Community Development MSCIA UB. Based on the result of a questionnaire-based assessment distributed to 41 responders, it was found that most of the responders said that they felt people living with HIV are still viewed with a negative connotation of stigma in society.
KUMPHA 2 is an intervention which aims to increase KOPHA knowledge about HIV & AIDS, provide opportunities for KOPHA to participate in increasing awareness and zero negative stigma of HIV & AIDS as primary prevention, avoid the negative stigma of society towards PLHIV, established KOPHA to become a peer educator in socializing matters related to HIV & AIDS and the negative stigma faced by PLHIV.
Before the intervention was implemented, there was an online campaign for introducing KOPHA through the Instagram Filter “I’M KOPHA”. On July 25th, 2021. KUMPHA 2 began with bonding and continued with a presentation from Nuruz Zahwa as Chief DORA of MSCIA UB 2021/2022 about "KOPHA 2021". Furthermore, the intervention was filled with training by Elza Tiara as PETRA MSCIA UB about "Comprehensive Sexuality Education”.
There is also an HIV & AIDS Olympics agenda with 3 rounds (preliminary, semifinal, and final).
The agenda is continued with the formation of chairman of KOPHA and KOPHA ambassadors, as well as Awarding. This intervention closed with the submission of the challenge to make educational posters through the formation of 9 Small Working Group KOPHA regarding HIV & AIDS.
Throughout the intervention, KUMPHA has gathered 101 participants (48 members of KOPHA batch 2021 and 53 members of MSCIA UB) at the Zoom meeting and achieved an average post-test score of 90.5. On Instagram, we gained 5242 impressions for the Instagram filter “I’m KOPHA”.
