KENARI
(Kenali 3R: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Sedari Dini)
SCORP CIMSA FK YARSI
The application of the 3R system (Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle) is one of the solutions in protecting the environment especially to minimize waste. The implementation of 3R can also be carried out by everyone in daily activities. Reusemeans reusing waste that can still be used for the same function or other functions. Reducemeans reducing everything that causese waste and Recyclemeans reprocessing (recycling) waste into useful new goods or products (UNCD, 2011).

Based on this background, SCORP CIMSA FK YARSI took the initiative to held an event called “KENARI” which stands for “Kenali 3R: Reduce, Reuse, RecycleSedari Dini.” This event aims to provide education and information related to 3R and environmental health for elementary students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Bakti Mulya 400 Elementary School. This is deemed necessary to be taught to children at an early age so that these children have basic knowledge about the importance of the 3Rs so that they can participate in maintaining environmental health and cleanliness.
The event was held on August 2, 2021 by presenting Kak Rosyida Wenindita Hanum as a Human Rights Education Facilitator who brought material on the 3R: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Previously, on July 26-30, 2021, we also held a campaign in the form of a drawing competition with the theme "Implementation of 3R in the School or Home Environment" which was participated by 12 students of Bakti Mulya 400 Elementary School.
There was an increase of 5% of the participants' pre-test and post-test’s results. These results indicate that the knowledge of students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Bakti Mulya-400 Elementary School about the 3R information: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle is quite increased. The session was attended by 208 participants.
By holding this event, we hope that this event can increase the knowledge of students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Bakti Mulya-400 Elementary School in implementing the 3R culture: Reduce, Reuse, Recyclein the future from an early age.
