Celebrates the National Children's Day - National Nutrition Day - National Health Collaboration Day, CIMSA USU conducted its first Transco activity by SCOPH and SCOME CIMSA USU. HAN-HGN-HKKN 2021 by CIMSA USU was packaged in a series of ICE CREAM activities: Interprofessional Collaboration to Eradicate malnutrition. This activity was carried out from 3 -7 March 2021 with a duration of 5 days.
This series of activities began with an air campaign by posted twibbon and infographics and a myth/fact quiz on Instagram for three days. The peak activity on March 6, 2021, on the day it would be held a webinar that has two topics, the first one is about "Child Malnutrition" with the speaker as a lecturer from USU Faculty of Medicine from the nutrition department, Prof. Dr.dr Dina Keumala Sari, M.Gizi,sp.GK and the second one is about “Health Collaboration: IPE & IPC to Eradicate Malnutrition " with a speaker from ALURA (Alumni Pencerah Nusantara), Fitri Arkham Fauziah.
This series of activities was closed with the release of a podcast on March 7, 2021, which invited speakers from ISMKMI and Hima Gizi Poltekkes Medan to discuss " The Role of Health Students handling stunting in Indonesia. "
The ICE CREAM series of activities aims to educate and raise awareness of the general public, especially health faculty students and health workers, about child malnutrition in Indonesia and how the implementation of IPE & IPC can help reduce malnutrition in Indonesia.
The webinar called ICE CREAM opens registration for the general public, especially health faculty students and health workers, with 246 registrants. Webinar participants come from various backgrounds, from students to several health professionals such as midwives, doctors, and pharmacists. Medical students dominate webinar participants.
After holding an activities series of the ICE CREAM: Interprofessional Collaboration to Eradicate Malnutrition, we hoped it could raise public awareness about the condition of child malnutrition in Indonesia and IPE (Interprofessional Education) and IPC (Interprofessional Collaboration) and knowing how to apply it to eradicate Malnutrition in Indonesia. We hoped that ICE CREAM could bring many benefits to many people.
