TB or Tuberculosis is one of the ten causes of death and the leading cause of infectious agents. In 2017, TB caused about 1.3 million deaths (range, 1.2-1.4 million). In addition, there are an estimated 10 million new TB cases (range, 9-11 million) per 100,000. Thus, Tuberculosis plays an essential role in cases of death and illness due to respiratory infections. The five countries with the highest incidence of cases are India, Indonesia, China, the Philippines, and Pakistan. Based on Infodatin of the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2018, The number of new TB cases in Indonesia was 420,994 cases in 2017 (data as of 17 May 2018). while in the Yogyakarta area itself, based on a circular letter from the Directorate General of P2P, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, determined the incidence and target of TB case detection in D.I. Yogyakarta at 4,934, an increase from 4,862. Knowing that TB cases are still high, members of SCOPH CIMSA UKDW created a podcast and also a talk show online by focusing not only on increasing awareness and knowledge of the dangers of Tuberculosis, prevention, and treatment of Tuberculosis through the educational movement but also on its relation to COVID-19 as today's pandemic.

This small talk show was held on Saturday, 3 April 2021, at 10 am through the platform ZOOM, and after that, it would be compressed and put on the platform SPOTIFY as a podcast. Participation who took part in this event exceeded the target. The high interest can be seen from the many active participants who asked the main speaker and Tuberculosis survivor who gave excellent explanations, dr. Rio Fajar Utomo and Yulinda Santosa. The committee itself did a great job. Although the event was finished later than the scheduled time, this was due to the high enthusiasm from participants in the event, beyond the committee's expectations.
The pretest and posttest were given to the participants. It showed a significant increase in their scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that this event is achieving its goal of educating the participants. With this talk show and podcast, SCOPH CIMSA UKDW hopes that it can increase public awareness regarding TB and its relation to COVID-19; lowering the number of sufferers; decreasing lousy stigma in the community related to TB, and also give support to TB survivors.
