In medical field, the need of English has shown a significant increase. By mastering English, we will have a broader source and relation which may enhance our medical skills. There are several skills we can master which is reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Mastering speaking is hard already, but public speaking in English is harder. Not only we need speaking skills, the confidence to talk in public is also needed despite the higher tension of talking not in our first language. Behind those struggles, mastering it may give us more experiences we might never think of.

In accordance to the need of English, there’s also an urgency in Indonesia’s Universal Health Coverage as there are some problems with BPJS. In addition to that, turns out that many of us still doesn’t fully understand the regulation of Universal Health Coverage in Indonesia. It is quite apprehensive reckoning its effect to healthcare treatment and facilities.

Spotting those two needs of learning English public speaking and having more knowledge on Universal Health Coverage, SCOPE x SCORP CIMSA Unair arranged a project called EXPECTO or Explore English with SCOPE Today in collaboration wiith SCORP consists of training on UHC which was delivered fully in English.
