COPE
(COVID-19 Vaccine and Productivity in Pandemic Era)
SCOPH CIMSA FK Unpad
In the aim to increase people’s knowledge about COVID-19 vaccination, improve the quality of health, and give new perspectives on how to be more productive during this pandemic, SCOPH CIMSA FK Unpad held an activity titled COVID-19 Vaccine and Productivity in Pandemic Era (COPE). This activity also facilitated those participants who wanted to get COVID-19 vaccines. The main focus of this activity is to help people find the answers to their questions about this pandemic, including vaccination, which is currently being the main focus in Indonesia. This activity is divided into three interventions: webinar, talk show, and data collection to facilitate people who wanted to get COVID-19 vaccination.
For the first intervention, we held a webinar titled “COVID-19: Vaccination and Myths Explained” on August 7th, 2021, with dr. Rosyida Avicennianing Tyas from COFIGHT and dr. K. S. Denta, M. Sc., Sp. A. from Parenteraktif as our speaker, and our senior, Teh Humaira Jasmeen, S.Ked., as our moderator. Before the webinar, we did our research in order to know more about people’s interests. Because we reached about 2.000 registrants, the webinar was held through Zoom Meeting and Live Youtube. The webinar was enthusiastically welcomed by the participants and at the end of the webinar, there was also a lecture from BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Bandung who was a sponsor for this activity.
On August 8th, 2021, we held a talk show titled “Chit-chat With dr. Rayhan Maditra: Dealing with Pandemic 101” on Live Instagram as our second intervention. For this intervention, we have dr. Rayhan Maditra from MAKO TALK as our speaker, and our senior, Teh Pinka Alia Rahmah, S.Ked., as our moderator. We reached more than 1.091 accumulated viewers.
For the last intervention, we collected data of our participants who wanted to get COVID-19 vaccination in the last session of our webinar by filling out a registration form for those participants who are eligible to join the vaccination program organized by our external partner.
After we held this activity, we expected all of the interventions would be valuable and increase public awareness and knowledge about the current situation in this pandemic. We also hope this activity could bring more new knowledge and experiences for SCOPH CIMSA FK Unpad members. We hope from our small actions through this activity, we can make an impactful public change and we can improve our nation’s health.
