(Be Aware for Exam)

To prepare CIMSA Unimal members to face neuro-psychiatric block tests, SCOME CIMSA Unimal held a BRAINSTEM (Be Ready for Exam) event. BRAINSTEM this year focused on module 3, namely pain disorders. This topic was selected based on the assessment results in which more participants chose pain topics to discuss.

Information about BRAINSTEM is disseminated through the Instagram account of CIMSA Unimal, so that all CIMSA Unimal members can see it and attract their interest in joining the event.  Information dissemination is also carried out through the Instagram account and personal WhatsApp for SCOME CIMSA members.

BRAINSTEM this year consists of two sessions carried out on December 5 and 12, 2020. The first time starts from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. WIB. Then the presentation of the material is carried out by dr. Jailani Alfajri. The main topics discussed were Hernia Nucleus Pulposus, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, headache, Bell's palsy, neuromuscular disorder, and other exciting topics. The participants were very enthusiastic about asking questions about the source. The first time closed with a photo with all participants.

In the second session, a discussion of the problem was presented by Govinda Aurelia. Before the discussion of the problem began, the participant filled out the absence again. Furthermore, it is followed up with a discussion of questions. When discussing the question is also discussed, it is also active to discuss the problem in solving the problem.

The purpose of establishing this BRAINSTEM is to increase the knowledge and understanding of CIMSA Unimal members and increase the number of CIMSA Unimal members graduating in the examination block later. The number of participants in 2020 who attended has met the target of nineteen people. All participants are members of CIMSA Unimal and are also attended by Official CIMSA Unimal.

With the implementation of this activity, it is expected that CIMSA Unimal will not have any more difficulties in dealing with block tests and do not need to worry about other things while being busy while working at CIMSA because with BRAINSTEM this can help CIMSA Unimal members in learning. The hope is that BRAINSTEM's activities can be implemented for the next blocks.
