AORTAE
(Anticipation of Hypertension and Stroke Interruption)
SCOPH CIMSA UNIMAL
On February 18 -21, 2021, SCOPH CIMSA Unimal held an AORTA activity (Anticipation of Hypertension and Stroke Interruption). This activity aims to increase public knowledge and awareness, especially the younger generation, about the dangers of hypertension and stroke, which not only attack the elderly but can also attack at a young age.
This series of activities were held for four days, from February 18 to February 21, in an air campaign on myths, facts, and webinars. On February 18 -20, activities were carried out by posting on Instagram stories about the myths and facts of hypertension and stroke every 07.00 PM by the committee. The target achievement of this myth and fact air campaign is on Instagram to reach 50. However, air campaign activities regarding these myths and facts do not always run according to the time specified because sometimes the committee is late in posting on Instagram Story. Even so, the target achievement of the myth and fact air campaign about hypertension and stroke exceeded the target achievement, which was more than 50.
Then the activity was continued with a webinar on Sunday, February 21, 2021, with the resource person, dr. Mawaddah Fitria Sp.PD, FINASIM., Sri Yulianti as master of ceremony, and moderator by Hasanatul Khairiyah. The webinar event runs for 2 hours, starting from 10.00-12.00 AM WIB. One hundred participants from all over Indonesia attended the webinar activity. The webinar was opened by the presenter, followed by remarks from the Project Officer and Local Coordinator. After that, the event was taken over by the moderator and continued with material from the resource person, dr. Mawaddah Fitria Sp.PD, FINASIM. The material presentation lasted for 30 minutes and then continued with a question and answer session with the participants. The participants' enthusiasm was quite good in this question and answer session, where more than 5 participants asked questions to the speakers.
We hope that the participants, especially the younger generation, can be more aware of the dangers of hypertension and stroke through this activity. Then the participants can maintain a lifestyle and also food to prevent hypertension and stroke.
