(Exchange Fair and Cultural Fest)
SCOPE&SCORE CIMSA FK UIN SH
According to MERCH’s post-activity assessment in October that we held before, many students in FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta are interested in joining a student exchange program. Unfortunately, not everybody is already well-informed about the inclusive exchange program provided by SCOPE and SCORE CIMSA in professional and research fields, so started from March 15th, 2021, SCOPE and SCORE CIMSA FK UIN SH held an annual exchange fair called AIRCRAFT. We want to spread information on participating in our exchange program and introducing people to several IFMSA exchange countries through this activity. AIRCRAFT consisted of several agendas, which were air campaign, cultural fest, and webinar.
On March 15th, 2021, we did the air campaign through our instastory by posting a twibbon filled with things about our dream exchange. We posted a poster about the exchange enrollment steps via our Instagram feeds, @cimsauin, the next day. From March 17th to March 19th, 2021, we held a cultural fest on Instagram feeds. It was an exhibition of 6 selected IFMSA exchange countries from 5 regions globally, such as South Korea, Morocco, Germany, The Netherlands, Brazil, and Kenya. Just like its purpose, cultural fest exhibited culture and education system from each country.
Finally, we held a fantastic webinar on March 20th, 2021, via Zoom Meeting. The webinar was attended by participants from preclinical and clinical students of FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. We invited dr. Putri Auliya and Ignes Widowati as SCOPE and SCORE to share their exchange experience. In details from their enrollment to their departure back home after they finished. They also told us pleasant things from their exchange country; how amazing their life there, how kind their new friends were, and so on.
After that, there was a session for QnA led by the moderator. The participants were very enthusiastic during the webinar that they asked and discussed many things with the speakers. The last session in the webinar was giving e-certificates to both speakers as our gratitude forms. We also took pictures together to commemorate this activity. Hopefully, this activity will provide benefits and helpful knowledge for all participants that they could use in the future, especially for those who want to study exchange!
