Hello, medical students of Indonesia!
The opportunity to attend 72nd WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia (SEARO 72) is here! The event will be held in Delhi, India, on 2-6 September 2019.
What is the 72nd WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia?
There are six regional offices under the structure of World Health Organisation. The member states in each region will convene once a year, usually in Autumn, and discuss about the regionalisation of WHO tasks and issues of regional focus. The WHO Regional Office for Southeast Asia is one of our counterparts in IFMSA Asia-Pacific region and it usually invites IFMSA to send a delegation as a Non-State Actor to the Regional Committee for Southeast Asia (SEARO).
• Responsible, hard-working individuals
• Ideally with some experience in external representation
• Ideally with some expertise in one of the topics to be discussed (listed above)
• An applicant that has a clear plan on how to follow-up on their experience in the delegation
• An applicant with some IFMSA experience
In choosing the delegation, IFMSA will seek to ensure a gender and sub-regional balance. We would also like to encourage less experienced participants to apply - knowledge transfer is a goal in and of itself for us.
If you are interested, make sure to register before 29 June 2019, 23.59 GMT+7!
Requirements include Application form (online) and Candidature Form.
