Call for URoH abstract submission - Apply for the Urban Resilience and One Health Conference Students’ Session and Competition

Domain 1: Interdependence of human and natural systems: 

Researches domains and sub-tracks focus on :

  • Air Quality in post-pandemic urbanisms
  • COVID-19 and zoonotic disease: vulnerabilities and crises
  • Water and Ecotoxicology, 
  • Soil pollution and remediation
  • Nature-based solution and health ecosystem services, 
  • Eco Anxiety and Ecopsychology in the urban environment.

Domain 2: Urban ecosystem and One health

Researches domains and sub-tracks focus on :  

  • Adaptation and mitigation to climate change at a local level: a health per Planetary Health and One Health
  • Community Resilience and participatory science to face triple crises
  • Resilience and Preparedness
  • Early Warning Systems and Connectivity
  • Health Ecosystem Services

Domain 3: One health and urban resilience hybridization

Researches domains and sub-tracks focus:

  • Urban heat waves
  • Energy transition: Net zero-emission building and cities for an indoor quality of life
  • Indoor Air Quality
  • Biomimicry and Bio-architecture

Interested presenters should submit an abstract of at least 300 words but not exceeding 500 words, in English.

Students are invited to submit their contributions and proposals for the conference.

There is a dedicated space for students and the selected contributions can participate in the student competition. 

For each domain,  a selected student contribution will participate in the main session and will run for the scientific publication.

If you also wish to submit an abstract but not join the student competition, you can participate 

Scientific Publication “Envisioning resilient cities for a post-pandemic One Health future”

A scientific online publication (that will be available as open-source) will be published by REsilienceLAB.

An interested author can submit full papers that can be selected and published after a double-blinded peer-review procedure. 

The full paper will be published as a chapter in the book “Envisioning resilient cities for a post-pandemic One Health future” and will be subject to double-blinded review. 

General guidelines about Full Papers/Chapters: full papers/chapters should have a total length between 12 and 18 A4 pages including images, tables, and bibliography. The single A4 page should have an indicative number of 3,000 characters including spaces. It will be preferable if the length of the title of the full paper/chapter should not exceed 70 characters.  

Detailed instructions and guidelines on the full paper submission procedure will be published within the first half of July.
